TORONTO, ON (June 26, 2025) - Fans unite! The ultimate fan experience of the summer is back! FAN EXPO Canada 2025, the country's largest celebration of sci-fi, fantasy, horror, gaming and anime strikes back on August 21-24 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. This year’s epic lineup will launch fans to new heights, through alternate dimensions and back in time for once-in-a-lifetime pop culture moments.
In addition to meeting your favourite celebrities, fans of all ages can dive into thrilling attractions, explore over 1000 exhibitors, attend star-studded panels, pose on the Cosplay Red Carpet, stroll through the show-stopping Artist Alley, and shop on the massive retail floor packed with exclusive collectibles and merch.

One of this year’s biggest highlights is the 40th anniversary celebration of the iconic sci-fi adventure Back to the Future. Crank up your flux capacitor as Canadian treasure Michael J. Fox reunites with co-star Christopher Lloyd for an unforgettable, exclusive event An Evening with Marty and Doc: Celebrating 40 Years. Fans can also choose from a variety of once-in-a-lifetime packages with the duo, featuring professional group photos, autograph signings and selfies. FAN EXPO Canada 2025 is the last of four rare North American appearances selected personally by Fox to mark this milestone in time-travel history. Get ready to jump into hyperdrive with Star Wars legends Obi-Wan and Finn! BAFTA-winning actor Ewan McGregor and acclaimed actor John Boyega will bring the Force to Toronto this summer. Joining them from the intergalactic realms and beaming down once again is iconic Canadian actor and original Captain Kirk, William Shatner. Also entering the pop culture arena is former heavyweight champion and unstoppable force Mike Tyson, ready to deliver a knockout fan experience.
Most likely to steal the spotlight at this year's show is Britain's Ugliest Dog 2023 and now Marvel’s scene-stealing regenerative canine Peggy the Dog. Deadpool and Wolverine fans can enter the parallel universe for a pawtograph and selfie with this unconventional hero. Whovians can also prepare to regenerate as the 13th and first female Doctor, Jodie Whittaker, and companions Catherine Tate and Mandip Gill materialise from the TARDIS for autographs, photos and fan meetups.
FAN EXPO Canada 2025 will take flight with a superpowered celebration of the legends behind the cape. The Smallville reunion soars with Smallville Nights, a one-night-only panel event featuring Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum as they bring the iconic series back to life. The nostalgia continues as fellow costars and Canadian actors Erica Durance, Laura Vandervoort and Kristin Kreuk will join them on the show floor for autographs and photo ops. Fans can also meet the Man of Steel from across the multiverse, including Brandon Routh (Superman Returns), George Newbern (Justice League) and Tim Daly (Superman: The Animated Series).
Comic lovers can get up close with the creative minds behind their favourite superhero stories, including three exclusive Comic Experiences with DC’s Chief Creative Officer Jim Lee (Batman: Hush 2). These once-in-a-lifetime opportunities offer a private meet-and-greet, autographs on your favourite items, a sketched-inked character, a selfie and front row seating to Jim Lee Live on Stage.
Other legendary comic creators appearing at FAN EXPO Canada 2025 are; Jeph Loeb (Batman, X-Men of Apocalypse), Jason Aaron (Absolute Superman), Dan Slott (Superman Unlimited), David Finch (Batman, Walking Dead) and Pepe Larraz (Amazing Spider-Man) and more.

Calling all animation fans! Get ready to meet the chaotic, beloved demons from the hit musical comedies Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. Fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender can converge with their favourite Benders from the award-winning fantasy series and get up close with musician and voice actor Hudson Thames (Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, What If…?) as he swings into FAN EXPO Canada 2025.
